Getting that ‘right sound’ can be a delightfully challenging endeavor to say the least. It can be as simple or complex, inexpensive or costly as a person needs (or wants) it to be. The DDyna mission is to support music creation with unique, handcrafted tools and devices.
Our name DDyna (pronounced da-dyna) is short for “double dynamic” as it refers to shaping real world audio signals into useful and psycho-acoustically pleasing music.
We are located in Bothell, WA at the north end of Lake Washington and operate out of a home office. We use local vendors when ever possible to help stabilize and support the US economy.
In this first stage of our evolution, we are deploying stomp boxes. Our first products have received some interesting reception and have a diverse following. We created three strengths of our limiter based overdrive to satisfy a broad spectrum of interest and we are happy to find that each flavor has found its niche.
Our new BASS10 is a higher cost, yet much higher value stomp with a high quality EQ, true studio quality compressor and switchable overdrive section. User feedback has been excellent.
As a boutique pedal company, we feel compelled to produce unique products that separate us from the rest of the herd. With the vast majority of the pedal market going to low cost importers (a place we do not want to be), our products will have a twist to them that are not common. By supplying value oriented handcrafted products we intend on earning your respect as a long term and valued brand.
